Yaseer Arafat played an instrumental role in the PLO (Palestine liberation organization).
Hamas started as a rival group of PLO and later emerged into a terrorist organisation.
Camp David meeting in 2000 failed as PLO wasn't granted liberation from Israel.
      Sharon, the then opposition leader and future PM, visited Temple mount resulting in 2nd Intifada (2000) .
          Battle of Gaza (2007) - PLO vs Hamas
Israel possess one of the strongest and highly advanced Defense forces in the world.
Trump peace plan (2019) proposed which has no invitation for any Palestine leader.
